Booking

To book you need to first check that the villa and dates you want are available. You can email here or call between 9am – 8pm on 0121 373 0610

If your chosen dates are available I can hold for 24-48 hours while you confirm other travel details and discuss with other family members. It’s always best to put accommodation on hold before booking flights (not the other way round!)

Once you’re ready to proceed with the booking I will email you the booking form and payment details. A deposit of up to 30% is payable within 3 days of making the booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before travel, or on arrival in certain villas. In the event of your dates of travel being less than 8 weeks away at the time you book, the full amount may be payable at the time of booking.

Terms and conditions:
Deposits: Deposits are payable within 5 days of booking and are non refundable

Arrival and departure: The villa will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. In some cases the villa may be ready earlier than the stated time but as we can never guarantee that in advance these times are given to allow the changeover staff time to prepare the villa for your stay.

Cleaning: The villa will be cleaned and prepared on arrival and on departure.

Liability: You are advised that you are occupying a private villa and therefore are responsible for you own safety in respect of any  accidents or damages sustained by you or members of your party during your stay. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury/accidents/damage. the owners of the property will accept no claims for such matters.

Your obligations: The villa may only be occupied by the number of people stated when booking. In the case of more people occupying the villa, the owner or its agent is authorised to demand an appropriate renumeration for the period of the over occupation, and to request the additional persons to immediately leave the villa.

Guests must not use the provided bath/hand towels outside of the villa

The Owner will try to ensure that the villa and its contents are in good order, however, it is possible that previous guests have broken, damaged or accidentally removed an item and the owner has not been able to correct this. Please inform the villa manager if this seems to be the case.

If you have any problems or issues with the property you must let the villa manager know at the earliest opportunity and allow them the time and opportunity to rectify any problems that occur. We will not enter into discussion on your return about any issues that were not raised with the villa managers while you were in resort. Discussion of any criticisms with us whilst you are in residence at the Property will usually enable any shortcomings to be rectified straightaway. In particular, complaints of a transient nature (for example, regarding preparation or heating of the Property) cannot possibly be investigated unless registered whilst you are in residence at the Property.

You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings, including items such as kitchen equipment, crockery and glasses clean and in good condition. You agree not to cause any damage to the walls, doors, windows or any other part of the Property nor to do anything that may be reasonably considered to cause a nuisance or annoyance to us or to any other occupier of adjoining or neighbouring properties. You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property while at the Property. You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage). We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancellation of the Booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion. You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access to the Property at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs, in an emergency or to ensure you are complying with this Booking Contract.

Final cleaning/damages:  Please try to leave the villa as you found it. Rubbish should be taken out to the bins, washing up done, and main appliances cleaned or wiped over if they’ve been used.

Guests are obliged to treat the villa, its contents and all items belonging to it with care and respect. if guests accidentally break or damage something please inform the owners local representative.

Guests are liable for all damages. To cover the cost of any damages guests must have adequate travel insurance

To cover the cost of any cancellation charges the customer is strongly advised to take out adequate and appropriate insurance at the time of booking.

Cancellation: In the event of cancellation at your request the following charges will normally apply: 6-8 weeks prior to your departure date – 50% of rental charge, 4-6 weeks prior – 75% of rental charge. Up to 4 weeks prior 90% of rental charge. All cancellations must be made in writing. We will make every attempt to assist in altering dates to suit.

We would not expect to have to make any changes to your Booking once it is confirmed between you and us, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or, very occasionally cancel Bookings. If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your Booking. If we cancel your Booking, Menorcanvillas will refund you any fees you have already paid to Menorcanvillas or to the Principal on your booking. However, we will not be liable to refund you for any fees you may have paid to any third party in connection with your holiday (including, without limitation, fees for travel, entertainment, activities or insurance)

Limit of Liability

Our maximum liability for losses you suffer as a result of us acting in breach of this Booking Contract is strictly limited to the amounts received by us in relation to your Booking. We shall not be liable for any losses which are not a foreseeable consequence of us breaching this Booking Contract. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your Booking is confirmed by us. Your Booking is made as a consumer for the purpose of a holiday and you acknowledge that we will not be liable for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you. For the avoidance of doubt, Menorcanvillas shall not be liable to you or responsible for:  any issue between you and us regarding the Booking;  any failure in relation to any payments due to the failure of a payment solution provided by a third party; and  the rejection of any payment of yours by a third party payment solution provider. This does not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or limit, or attempt to exclude or limit, our liability.

Law and Jurisdiction

This Booking Contract (including any non-contractual obligations arising under or in relation to this Booking Contract) between you and us is governed by the law of England and Wales and we both agree that any dispute, matter or other issue which arises between us will be exclusively dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales.

Pets: Pets are NOT ALLOWED

Smoking: guests are NOT allowed to smoke in the villa, there are numerous outside spaces to smoke.Force Majeure: We accept no liability to pay compensation for any loss, damage or changes arising from unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (but not limited to) war, riot, civil strikes, floods, and closure of airports due to adverse weather conditions (including volcanic activity and ash related delays) or other events beyond our control. It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re adequately insured.

Contract: The legal contract for the supply of your accommodation is between you and the property owner, who acts as principal on this booking. This Booking Contract, together with the Cancellation Policy and our confirmation email contain the entire agreement between us and you relating to the Booking and shall supersede any previous agreements, arrangements or discussions between you and us, whether oral or in writing.
